ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Welcome Tho, good people, cool things, podcast we drink conversations with entrepreneurs, writers musicians andother creatives on your host, or we held an today's guests Ar Tasha andVanessa from atx food chronicles were chatting about all the best places toeat in Austin they're taking us back to the first time they met down it out sathe road runners. My Obscure College basketball. Knowledgecontinues to pay off. As I know, the mascot of virtually every college inthe United States not sure I should admit that. But here we are we're alsotalking about how they've navigated, through the pandemic, some of the mostinteresting comments, they've gotten from people in a whole lot more beforewe dive in. If you likes to get in touch with the show you can do so fee.A facebook, twitter or instagram at GPCT podcast fell on Instagram, there'ssome fun little giveaways, going on from the good people cool things shophic. You can also visit by going to good people, cool thingscom, slash shop, very simple, very easy to do. There's lots of good sweaters mugs, hoodies, hats, wal, art, all different kinds of things to keep you looking stylish andwaltslooking stylish too. So, while you're being stylish enjoy thisconversation with atx food chronicles. The Way I've been starting is asking avery cliched question, which is for you to give me your elevator pitch. Ifpeople don't know who atx food chronicles are tell us all about that, but also tellus the elevator that we're riding on as you're giving this elevator pitch ohgod at's like a loaded questionalready startingough hot, I mean, I guess I'd say we're two girlsthat are we met in college. You know we both went to TMA wee beep, go roarunners and we both have marping degrees, andso we like to eat food of course, and we just thought that we saw otherblockers. You know posting about places to go and I think Vanessa had maybetried a place and it wasn't really wasn't that good that she had sawblogor post about, and so she was just like. You know what we can do this. Whydon't we just try to do it? So that's what we did three years ago and it justkind of jus blown up ever since I used to come and visit Tasha, like probably once every what two threemonths and it wasone every other month or maybe once a month yeah. It wasreally often because I lived in San Antonio and nothing against anyone wholives there, but I was just I was burnt out on it. I went to college there andevery time I came into town it was always so fun for us to find a newplace to go eat at. She would always kind of be in the know where to go, andI just remember that one time yeah, I can even tell you, the blogger, didn'tlike it and the next day ore that, like yeah like the next day or so, was like.We should just do this in my main goal. For US Tasha, I don't know, was I justwant to go to a restaurant before it opens. That would be so BS. We just wanted to be the itlogger. I mean it is pretty cool. So that'sthat's an understandable goal. No onethousand percent. So Do you do you? I mean I assume theanswer is yes, but you remember the very first restaurant that you postedabout. I Noi winver. It was ust yeah. You weredoing so separately, then. So it's like San Antonio and Austin, like a mixright. The first one I posted was this ice cream place on in East Austin. Ican't remember in the photo is horrible? Oh my gosh, it's embarrassing! Lookingback on it. I should go, find it, but it's like an ice cream bolt taken fromthe side, so you can't even really see the ice cream and, like really dimlighting, I've run into that issue. Many times myself. So I completelyempathize where I'm like this looks...

...great and then I look at it later andit no. It does not exactly lot's, not look great but of course, you've grownsince then, and now your photos are wonderful and very enjoyable and welllid think yeah. The TRYFECTA have touchng. You mention that you have thebackground in marketing and we will certainly get back to that. But was thephotography side of things? Obviously, instagraming a very visual platform wasthat something new or had you kind of at least had a little bit of experiencetaking photos, maybe not a food, but of other things I mean I have friends thatare bloggers whatever, but we actually mean Vanessa both met in college. Weboth have marketing degrees from UTSA. I don't really have any foodphotography, but I take Bhotos of my friends like hey. Let me take a Bote O.Take a pot with me in this outfit know the angles you know all that kind ofstuff and what kind of gets people to look, because you know when you'reposting on Instagram, you literally have- I don't know, probably like tenseconds, to get somebody's attention them to actually read your post andlike the post or send it to somebody or save it, or something like that. So Ithink just along the way, through the years we've both just gotten betterabout it and with both of us we just kind of like tag team. Everything do you ever squabble over what to postor where to go like what o you thinare. You yes like Iwant to. I want to hear about brawls that hife maybe unfolded. Maybe there'sno, even like four five throwdowns, no just kidn seems like a fair amount. Ofvtiyeahyeah, O There's been a couple times where we both like a different picture, but we just kind of you know. Okay, if we're going to postthis picture, then maybe next time we'll post this picture use this in thestories. It's never that big of a deal we tend to agree on most of them. Ithink right. I guess it's just like we're getting double the content, soit's almost sometimes a lot to sore through and like it's really like, Isaid the more we do it, the better we've gotten so lovely and as far as posting twoinstagram three years is a long time in the social media. World and INSTAGRAMhas had a number of changes. Most recently hope your fan of reels, because that's all instagram seems to like to promote and now they're. I don't even know what theofficial phrasing is, but they're like batching likes now. So you just seelike a mass of people like your post, instead of who it was individually soright, it makes all of that engaging a little more difficult, but have you like how have you navigatedall the changes of instagram? Do you like reels? Are you like video? An thatformat is like a let's be real: An inferior tick tock and I'm not even onTick Tock. I how? How is that kind of like informed your strategy over thepast few months? Tashai, let you take this one because she's more of the ticktalker I'll be on. I love Tik tack and I'm all for the reels. I just wish thereels were longer, but I like the rols because they're more of a catchall likeI'm, going to show you this short clip and it's a synopsis of this event orthis place or this restaurant or this hotel whatever and just captures youreye in the moment that you need to be there. You know what I mean more sothan a picture. Would we haven't really done miny reals, but I want us to startdoing more so serely. We will, but I like the real I'm all for him when you have done reals. Do you kindof map out a storyboard beforehand of what you want to show? Are you justkind of taking, because you know how some people do the transitions usingthe align tool and having these cool like? Let me throw a sweater on thecamera and then I'll pull it back. I'm in a new apet kind of thing: it's veryimpressive. I cannot pull it off. Do you have like o? I guess astoryboard is probably the technical...

...term for it, but like a lay out of howyou want your reels to look or is that more of like an after the fact you puttogether the best stuff I mean for me, it just kind of dependslike we. I think I posted about Georgetown Gim. So I know I wanted todo real to show somebody how to make the drink that I was creating. So I hadthat in mind. But if I'm going to HIV- and I always do want to always do whantto take pictures and then we will take videos and then our main focus, I guessI would say, would you say the pictures but Essa Yeah, I would say so yeah and then, ifwe have enough video content to create a real, then that's just like an extrabonus. I will say that I personally have been using splice and Teza apps more than actualreels, but I do think it would be beneficial to upload what II've createdin those APPS intoreals and keep them on there. That's just another elementthat I know I need to get better at so reals have kind of been a corpball forme in particular, probably not so much tashas and she as like a TicktokinTishinato. I watchd too much tick pop yeah. It hearkens I was I'm not goingto say I was a big fine user, but I was on vine and would occasionally playaround and reals reminded me very much of vine. But you have, I guess now fivetimes the time since you can go up to thirty seconds, but I kind of want tojust take my old vines that I had from back in the DA M post them. They willbe very out of context and almost none of them are food related, but it'll ll still be great, just saved onyour phone or what, because you know, Byane went away fun to go away. I thinkthey're saved on a hard drive and I also at one point uploaded several toyoutube. I think maybe, when vine was going away, I was like. Oh, I shouldsave these somehow in case my hard drive gets demolished, or I guess stopsworking demolish sounds more drastic, like someone's coming over and activelyhitting it with the Hammer. You never know you never know people don't likehard drive. Sometimes I remember it's a lot of like corny pickup lines and rapfree style like failes, which were like the big thing of vine back in wheneverI was on it thosnd an thirteen or thousand and fourteen. So it'scertainly not my best work, but it's completed work already that very fewpeople have seen so it just seems like so easy to drop it in. You know why not! You could probably and get allof your vines together on one reel, because they're social right, probablyY, just immediately use up everything I have and get one video out of it onInstagram it'll, be great it'll be great touch. I want to go back to thecocktail that you were talking about and how to make a drink in Yawl'sepisode is going to be the last episode before Thanksgiving taking a while alittle week off for Thanksgiving and obviously the holiday season continuesup until the new year. So what are some of the good cocktailsthat we can be making at home here, since a lot of us probably aren't doingmuch traveling for the holidays, but maybe people still want to drinkheavily. So what do you recommend? So I'm actually going to pass this over toVenessa because she came up with a recipe that I guess maybe she had foundwith some bodcut actually or we had this. What was it last Wednesday aveterans day? We had a little picnic and it was delicious. I think it'sabout the perfect falt cocktail yeah, so I had some traitor. Joes spicedsider, not alcoholic, but I had it in my fridge. So then, of course, I wenton Pintrist and I found a apple spiced sider mule, so it wasginger beer, the apple sider, with some vodka and we added some fresh orangeand cinnamon stick. It was delicious ithonestly just tasted like Fallin a cup, but apart from that cocktail, Awesoneeastsiders recently relaunched their cranberry sider, and I had it thisweekend at the Parkyo, I'm not crazy. I...

...don't drink all that much, but it justhappened to be a two different picnics this week and I had like the CIDER was amazingand I had it with the Chumway rim. Now I know that's not a traditional falltreat but Chimli Lindia has really good rim dippers, and it really made a siderthat much better. So good. That sounds wonderful. I just tried theAustin East sider selter, since apparently everyone is in the celtergame now right. Those are good too. Yes, would recommend dangerous, then they're not tasting at all like alcohol.Exactly and the picnicking brings up anotherinteresting element, because obviously it's in your name, atx food, chroniclesyour chronicling. What is here in Austin like where to go and the Placeisto see, but obviously we're still in the midst of a pandemic, there mighteven be tighter restrictions on the horizon for Texas. How have you beenable to still showcase all this different food because you still havebeen and you're still going to picnics you're still showing us food that youcan get? You know curbside pick up like that. How have you managed to still give usthe goods, even if we can't be dining at these places? Personally, I think that restaurants, now more than ever, ar needing our support, so we've had an outpunting ofrestaurant and even just local bakers. You know anybody who's doing this sidehassled that maybe it started off as a side Hussle that is now their full time.Job Just winting some exposure, so I feela be getting a lot of things to goand and or going in during a nonbusy time and dining in on typically, we Ilike to do patios right, Tim Right, right, Patio make sure we're Soca, distancing away from other people, aren't awkwardly staring at US Whilwe're taking photos. I don't care about that anymore, not after an apple spice to podcoo. Oit trulydoes make everything just seem less less important, all the peripherals ofpeople coming around. What's like the strangest comment, someone has said toyou: Well Your doing your thing. Oh my gosh, so onetime we had gone to old thousand and we were just you know taking photos doingour own thing and then I had. I think I had posted it on my personal page thatwe were there or something and some girl had. I guess I don't know what shedid. I think she put it on her story and we're talking about how we didn'teat all this fud and food bloggers are so wasteful and didit at a Du just kind of just and she noanto you yeah. She attacked me in, and I wasjust like I'm trying to like backtrack like where was this girl or were shesitting on? I like okay, but I was just like it just really caught me off guardand it was just such a negative thing that I was just I was shocked, but I think I ended up giving her some kindof response. Like you don't know what I did or what we didn't do we were therebefore you guys. You know you only saw what you were. What yousee only saw what you saw whenever you got there I'll be honest. That day wehad gone out and eaten ice cream beforehand. We went Ito Dulja. What'sit called dl CCO and then yeah ntol MOUs into for a hosted dinner, and wegot you know when we we go to restaurants. They tend to give us extrafood because they want it photographed and we almost always take it to go,which was the case, but she saw that we quote: Unquote didn't eat all the food, and so she just got very offended and she made some snide comments aboutinfluencers being wasteful and that it's not a real thing, so itwas, justofensive yeah.

Also I don't know Ifyou- can hear mydogs all going off. In the background. It's great, I think that is always kindof an element to things like most people are just curious about. What's going on likeI've, had people come up and they'll be like ohare, you, some sort of foodphotographer and I'm like very good deductive skills there and IL youhKnowi'll shoot the boll with them for a little bit and they're Neckin the dieyeah. Very we got a lot of Sherlock Holmes is out here in Austin. I, butyou know tthey're just I mean this is again: Pre covid but like they'reexcited to just be out and about and so il you know, I'll always chat withfolks like that and then occasionally you'll get people who are just likeit's like the worst. What you're doing and it's like no I'mkaying negative, like people are just people just like to hate, sometimes and yeah, if it'snot personally affecting like. If you had gone over and dumped all the foodin their lap and maybe like throwing some mashd potatoes in their eyes, thenI could. I could see a snide comment following that, but it sounds like thatwas not the case, and so, although I don't know, maybe if you secretly diddo tha no, I mean I never talked to Hir wholetime. I was there no and I feel like Tosh, and I are like very nice to Weitstaff and everything. So I mean I don't really know what Anybud. I neverthought anybody could say anything negative like that about us and thenshe messaged or tagged tosh AAND the learn, a lesson that day the omen. Yeah, the only the other thing, and it's not it's just more funny, since our name isatx food, chronicles, there's been probably four or five times wheresomebody thinks that were part of the Austin Chronicle, and I didn't everthink about that when we came up with the name Tash. But it's been like acouple times like Ohso you here for the newspaper now. Well now you have to start your own, maybe like once a month periodical that you can. You can distribute to some ofthe local businesses around her and then you can say actually, yes, I amhere with thenspaper. That's such a great idea and I'm sure it's an easy lift to juststart a newspaper. It's you know an afternoon designing the lay out andthen you're set you're good to go exactly it's very true, no Vanessa. I always like asking a question that you wish you were askedmore frequently and in fact you were late to this recording session becauseyou were caught up watching an episode of shitzs Creek, and so I think yourquestion is very tangentally related to this, and so we're very excited to diveinto it. But you asked what ore you would like to beasked. What your favorite, fictional, show or fictional character is- and Ifeel like you've got more than one that you're you've got it the ready. I feellike you, and I have had many a conversations about one of my favoriteTV shows, which is parks on wreck and anybody that watches that your cavoor characters got to be run.soone and right, I mean, in my opinion, yeah yeah, but my current favorite is Shits Creek, which thanks for the call out, I thought that was a joke. My favorite character is Myra she's,just so over the top and everything she says cracks me up, but my all time, favorite TV show that has been my favorite show since high school isGilmor girls and it just want to be exactly like Laurali. Shemakes me want to have an Arbmb or BMB in just be really witty. I don't know if you've ever seenit you, you get it. I have seen it. I don't. I don't have much to add to it.I don't my sister was a big fan and would watch it very often growing up. Ithought they just talked very fast. That was my takeaway from it.

I know their names are ror and Lourali, and that's I think, that's all I got for you as far as Gilmar girls go, but I can see it. That's a good. That's agood life aspiration there. Would you rather have a BNB or an Arbian, be I'd rather have a banb but I'LD Bun itin the hill country. Air BMBS, I feel like, might be more work for less reward, that maybe I hade it backwards that just I don't really know much about it,but I think it uslike ook yeah. I think the BMB would be fun, so I could havelike a little bakery downstairs. I could sell some fluting free treet s Iwould be able to. You know, make every room a different theme. I just I don'tknow yeah. I feel like you' be able to addmore quirk like if you had you know an old woman that was knitting in thecorner at an Air IDA BNB. It's like. Oh that's, charming. You know, 'll sitdown and talk while she's knitting, but if that's in your arbmb you're kind oflike, are we in the wrong spot like did we did we get the wrong key or whatever soyeah, I think, being based the way to go as well. Thank you for the SupportIm here for you, I'm here rory. That was perfect. Thank you. Thank you.TASHA! Do you have a contribution, or do you only watch realistic televisionand KNO FICTIONAL? So I don't really have like a favoriteTV show, but I am like obsessed with crime TV, which is hilarious, because Ilive alone. You think I would scare my own self watching these shows, but Ilike to watch anything that's on investigation discovery. I don't knowwhy I've just always been into crime, since I was young and just people arecrazy. People are crazy. Do you have a memorable? It doesn't have to be afavorite, but like a memorable crime that you've learned about so actually I recently watched adocumentary on Netflix and was about this guy. who was over the town hand hethought the town people weretreating him horribly, and maybe this happenedin like two thousand and six or two thousand and eight. So he like builtthis nondestruct, this nondestructible bulldozer and he just like clowedthrough the town Pol through buildings and wath like shooting people, and he did it for hours and they could notstop him. It was just crazy that somebody came up with that. I thought that was fascinating. I don'tremember that happening. I think it happened in Nebraska. I can't reallyremember. I can't even remember the name of it, but I will find it and letyou guys know fantastic will drop it in the shownotes, add a little a little crime to your atxfood while you're out and about it's called shread. That's what it is:Trerid, okay at a wonderful comtoug crime, TV and food. I ow Quesh. I wasbreaking point. A mystery wilder quietly fortifies a bulldozer andsystematically destroys numerous businesses and homes in the small townof Grand Granby Colorado Yeah, I'm a stick with Gilmor girls, but appreciate. I appreciate everything that you told me for a while. I try to scare you guys. I feel, like I've learned a lot, but Idon't know if I want to watch it the feel definitely interesting. Absolutely I always enjoy a good crime.Obviously like truekimd podcasts are the big thing over the PEDSAR toe I'LLPEK in on those every once in a while. I just learned about a podcast, which Ialso do not remember. The name of it is called unsolved and it's a buzz feedpodcast that looks at sports conspiracy theories and so topical with the NBAdraft coming out actually tonight. As...

...of the airing of this episode, allabout Ho one thousand nine hundred and eighty five, it was the very firstdraft lottery and they basically wanted to rig it. So the New York Nicks gotthe best player available in Patrick Ewing, so there's all these theoriesthat they like froze the envelope that had the nicks card in it, so they knewwhich one to like pull out or that they like banged it against the side of theLittle Ball Turner that they used, and it's just like so fascinating. How manyconspiracy theories there are about, like literally an envelope with a cardin it, ann like that, an I think, you'll. Definitely like the one aboutMcDonald's. I think it's on HBO about how the Mega millions thing was rig, like from a family ow I've seenthat it was so good right yeah. I have not seen that, but that soundsgreat. I'm in I'm all about I'm all about rigged things and conspiracytheories. It is fantastic and I'll also give while we're on the topic of fictional characters. We've beenrewatching sister sister, which is on Netflix, and that's it. I never really watched it regularlygrowing up like. I definitely saw several episodes but watching it fromstart to finish. First of all, there as very little continuity in that show, like they'll they'll, end the episode dating someone and then the nextepisode, they're looking for a guy- and it's just like at one point like one character-disappears for like two episodes and this new person is introduced as likethe bully and then the next episode. It's back to normal and V, never watched it from startto finishhis episodes here and there it's pretty enjoyable theree'r about halfwaythrough now, and it seems like they maybe havejumped the shark in season for, but it's still, it still makes me laughmultiple times an episode, and I think that's all you can ask for out of yournity sitcoms and I guess two thousand sit comes to,but because I'm currently rewatchingDawson's Creek. It's just in the background and my husband is like thatis the worst theme song I've ever heard in my life he's criticizing Pola Col. it's notthat it's not that team song anymore. If what, if anybodyis listening to this, then they're interested got, go, listen to it, it breaks my heart because it'snot the right one wait a minute wait a minute like they didn't get the rights to pulla col or something so they have yeah another ar apparently Danny from atx gossip told me becauseshe knows everything, because I forgot the actor's name. The Guy, who playsDowson recently moved to Austin, so James Van Derbeek, yes he's in Austinnow, so I had posted something like I hatetheir new theme song and she said that that was supposed tobe the r original theme song that the other theme song was just one that Idon't know, listen butt. Do I don't want to waitone? It is no more. So what is the new one like? Can youplease give us a few seconds of it or just describe it in terms of like? Isit you know? Is it like Grun Rock? Does it sound like Dave Matthews Band? Didit or is it also like a slow sort of ballad? You know I'm trying to it's just a horrible, slow ballad, Idon't n W. I was trying to look it up on my spotify and I don't want to clickthe wrong thing I just maybe this will just convince Whil Yoar to go pressplay on my first episode of Dowton's, quick on Netflix, so you can see whatI'm talking about. I mean I'm going to and I feel likeit's going to ruin my night, so thank you in advance. Ver. Welcome for that. That's that is like a wild thing abouthow shows...

...don't always get t e the rights to their music- and I knowfreaks and Geeks, which is another terrific show, would highly recommendthat show for the longest time they couldn't release it because they didn'thave the rights to all of the music and, like that, show without the music. It's like Dohnson's creak without. Idon't want to wait. It's just a shell of itself, exactly, Oh goodness, we're getting down a wildTV. Tangent, which is always welcome, especially you, know it's getting coldoutside. Sometimes you just got to curl up and throw on some shows rightand. I was just judging Kasha forher crime TV, but I finally finished dexter last week and I was so depressedfor like a day and not going to give away anything incase somebody hasn't watched it. I did have that show ruin for me. I think andcorrect me if I'm wrong, because I really kind of stopped watching abouthalfway through it and I had always heard seasons. One andfour were the best ones and of the four that I watched. I would agree with that, but when I was like early on in the show Imentioned, I was watching Dexter to someone and they said: Oh, isn't thatthe show where and if you've seen season, for you know what I'm talkingabout and they I was like. Why would you ask that, like that's Awhy, would you phrase it that way oflike revealing what happens when I clearly said I'm watching, because atthe time like that was the most recent season. So if I'm watching it clearly Ian, not when Harry Potter andthe half blood prints came out, I had got my book and that night somebodyelse bed read it and they told me dumbledoor died and I wanted to go crybecause I lhike you just ruined everything. For me. I also had that book ruined. We knowsome terrible people. I was like tell me, ittook me that justruined it for you, because you're about fifteen o twenty years, lite, no, no, it was I had it. I also had itruined before I read it. I back. I think it was like. I don't know it was a little whileafter it had been out, but not like, like so long that it was my phan some of let's just can't read a book ina month when we're living life. You know I did sthat's true, yes now. Well, Imean it also came about. When I was in Hig School, maybe Col College. I don'tknow, I don't really recall the timelines of those. Maybe I was. I wasprobably in college by then, but either way either way. It was ruinedfor me and I almost didn't read it until the seventh book came out andthen I was like. I guess I should read this six book, never dreat! Well, moving from the world of wizardryto the world of Real Life Food in Austin. We lwas liketo end with the top three, and this is going to be a pretty broad question, but it was also your own recommendation. So Tasha you can blame Vanessa ifyou're having trouble with this answer, since this was her suggestondety is aloaded, FEATEU, so many places well, you can either give your topthree favorite restaurants in Austin or let's get real granular and your topthree favorite dishes. Ohmy Gosh. You want me to go first, yeah, all right. I really like China family. It's aChinese restaurant off of e airport. They have really good food and theyhave like laft ride, creen teams and then theyre. Their rice is really good too. So I would definitely recommend gettingthat. I really love pizza. I can eat pizzaevery day which is so annoying to my...

...family, because they're like what doyou want to eat, I'm like, let's just go, get pizza but there's a place inWest Lake called Mary's, Cormet Pizza and they have really good pizza. Theyalso have Gluan free options for Vanessa and they have Salas to likehuge salad, so definitely check that place out in thenItalian food andiamo by the domain, like top notch top not sod and a great name as well any restaurant,an you can yell sounds fancy. You know Yeabo amazing, that's the only way I can readit like anytime. I see someone talking about it. I just have to shout it in my mind as I ammature. Yes, Antas, so wat ar your three favorites. So I'm going to do dishes, because I can't really choose restaurantsbecause overall, like I'm, a very picky eater, so there's some things. You know itjust various place to place, but I will echo what Tasho said: Mary's Gourmet Pizza has my favoritepizza, probably anywhere in its Wlitton free they. It's just incredible. I'vetold people to go there from out of town and they have taken bates. Yes, likeI'm just obsessed that place, and I have these lettuce raps to that arereally good, but seriously amazing and then my otherplace, and I talk about this all the time and my husband gets so annoyed. There's this place not technically an Auestin, but IMBUDAA called Garcias, and they have my favorite bef heded, not chos like I could go there at least once a week that doesn't sound likemuch but I' telling you. My husband is over it. What a ringing endorsement he! He is more obsessed with cheis whichits not bad, but I would prefer a little hole in the wall and then mylast favorite dish is revelry barn kitchen. On the east side, they have myfavorite Bressel sprouts that I've had any worcanisk Tasha like a brussellsprout horder when it comes to them, and it's really sad, but they have likebacon in them. They're like tossed in this nice. It tastes like a taraakehoney sauce and it has Togarashi, which is like a spicy Japanese seasoning ontop. So freaking amazing he's like a Brussel spouts conseer. Have you tried phoebes diners Brusselsprants Ai had do I need to add it to my list.I think you might. I was just introduced to the Sdiner as a whole.Just a couple weeks ago, it's where the pizza potrone used to be, if you'refamiliar with that on south first and whatever that cross street is Ol Turif.I think, and it is also the pizza patrone. I am the only personapparently who thought it looked exactly like Wolf, Farell wearing a hat, and I would I would tell people I'mlike hey we're about to pass. Will Ferell and they'd look and say no themustache, though right? Yes, yes, also with a moustache. I think I think Ispecifically said it's will furrol from anchorman with I a hat. So it's RonBurgundy with a hat. I guess if you want to get real technical, butapparently I'm the only one who saw it, but it's fine. I digress, but Tebe'sdiner is now in that area and I was ordering from there and I looked. I waslike what should I get? What are the people recommend, and some review waslike the Brussel sprouts are the best I've ever had it'll make your car smell, like Brussel sprouts for like a week, but it's worth it. I have to get itevery time I come and they were not...

...wrong on any accounts like they're,very good, Brusel spreats, and they do make your car smell for a few minutefew days afterwards s sprouse Air Frestona, all right, I just followed them, so one hundred percent will be lookinginto that excellent. Keep me posted everything I got from. There wasactually very good, so you can, you can go hog wild, it doesn't just have to beRussells Brans. So now that we've told us, but our favorite places are whatare three of your favorite places? Aur? U FAVORITE! Oh No! Okay, table KEP TURN! Yes, my myoteturtens of Tan, okay, I'll go with it might be a hybridit'll, probably just kind of be like a mix of favorite places. I'm okay! Can Imake one of mine a sad one that just closed Egro? No, I FUNC Adelic. I would alwaysgo there for won. I had great breakfast Yeah Ratyeah, yes, the first time Iwent. I was like a year and a half ago I just had like a mental health holidaythat Ih'd taken from work. I was like I just want to take a Friday off in June, and I went to the funcadellic just like out of the blue. I was like what's agood brunch place around here and it popped up, and I said all right, I'mgoing and they had these Truo waffles that were just like so wonderful andyou could throw some chicken on. If you wanted, you could keep it. Vegetarianjust keep the WAMFLES and fruit and they had like a Horchata whip creamthat you could put on it and Woa wow very well done funkadelic. We miss you. Please come back in another form, I and then I guess, kind of sticking withthe sort of breakfast theme Teel House Bakring Cafe I on I guess it's justheal house bakery. I don't think Kafa is an official part of the name, butit's a food truck on east slaughter. So it's east Te, thirty five, it's next, two an mini golf course, so you can get your pup put on while you're gettingyour nomnom on and they have Kolacis. They have a Briskat Kalachi, which Iknow exists selsewhere, but I have not tried it anywhere else so best, brisket,Kolacis and all of Texas. I will give it my my stamp of approval at that, but Ithink the better thing to get because kalaches Y, you can get Clotchi's a lotof places, but they also have Asias here which are crussanse with cinnamonroll icing on top of it and they are phenomenal they're, so freaking, good and wonderful, and Ineed to get at least six every time I go and they usually look at me like youare sharing this with people right, because that's quite a bit of sugarthat you're going to in jest- and I said Yes, I am- and then I eat them allover the next week and they also have very good coffee. So if you're like alate Fan, they have a a good variety of. I was going to say, seasonal drinks, but they're all year round, but like a flavored drinks like a saulted caramellate, or something like that, I've heard good things about that place.I know vaness has been a I've been dying to go, so I need to definitely GEmean any time you go. I do not live that far from there. I will. I willalso Keme a get food with you. I live five minutes from there. Myhusband said it was the best cinamon role he ever had in his life and hedidn't realize that he'd eaten one of my glutan free ones. So I fond o rfunny so thet when he had the real one. He was like Holy Gras. That's a rigging endorsement. I like it.I know and it's a real lize story. Wemy last place. I should probably not do dinner or breakfast I should say well,do a dinner Ishon. I guess you can have this for lunch as well. It's also pizza,it's Pint, House, pizza and pint. I...

...think Pinthouse, like Legit, does havethe best pizza that I've had in Austin and I like a variety of their options.Although the Schruman goat is always my favorite, which is goatcheese mushroomsand I think it's an erugala mix, and butyou know a lot F, a lot of Greens on there too, which goes against mytraditional, you know, make it as unhealthy as possible. I'd argue thisis probably pretty healthy pizza and I also like Pinthouse, because for sovery good customer service they have a rewards program where multiple timesyou know it's supposed to be like a one use. Coupon they're like I just keep itfor next time to like you can use it again. I said: that's very sweet, butthere's one moment like one one night in particular that I think theyelevated we. I was meeting a friend there and they have two happy aurs. They have like a normal time happy hour and then a late night happy hour, andour table happened to be right, underneath the vent that was connectedto the kitchen, so we're getting all these kitchen smells of how good youknow, pizza being cooked, smells good. So we're like we need to get some pizzatoo. We go to order. The kitchen had just closed. We were like five minutestoo late and instead of just being like Ih, you just miss it. He was like. Itell you what, like you know, the kitchen is close today, but he gave usa little like token for free pizza. The next time we came- and I said that wasthat's nice, so on ight, yes, yes, they have severalinhouse taps and then a lot of other local breweries are featured there toso pine house. You know what's up for three years in a row, I had a birthdayparty that included pinthouse pizza and laser tag, usually in that Woer, whichis the wrong way to do it, but nothing like running around in adark area with a bunch of little kids sprinting at full speed. I've been there, I mean it is good. Ithink they have like a pizza, maybe with Pepperoni and honey, on it orPepperoni, and something I don't know, but I just forget about it and I liveso close. I need to like remember to go there. Well, I hope this has been thetriggering you need for twod two of the three spots since the other. One isclosed. You can't go to a, but for the two spots that are still open you can.You can finally enjoy fantasical Tashan Vanessa. Thank you somuch for hopping out. Just like it sounds, I guess you're requiring people orelike you know, relying on people to know how chronicles is spelled, but Ithink, as Fu as far as long words go, it's pretty it's pretty easy right, chronicles, an Narnio as a movie, I don't know and someone with twomisspelled words in my handle. I I certainly understand the thin, but the first like the fat is pretty hot and tempting right. Yes, yes, as it always is fantastic. Well, I'm sure you both willappreciate this.
